ABOUT THIS RETREAT

WORKSHOP

"Your Story, Your Style: Creating a beautiful, meaningful home"

During this retreat, we will explore several aspects of the Slow Style philosophy created by Zandra to help people develop a signature style in their homes.  Ultimately, we will be laying the foundation for the autobiography of your home, which represents who you are, where you've been and who you want to become.

Classes will focus on the connection between design and well being, as well as the ways in which design can support your goals in other areas of your life.  You will learn different aspects of how an aesthetic is cultivated, with practical steps you can take to put your style into action throughout your home.

Classes will include

  • guided self reflection

  • mood boarding

  • learning how to create color and pattern palates

  • how to style shelves, mantels, tables and other areas in your home where you will express different aspects of yourself

  • learning the art of the "mix" to create a cohesive feeling throughout your home

  • personalized "hot seats" where you will receive individualized attention to your design dilemmas

  • a DIY project for you to take home with you

  • other hands on projects TBA
